Welcome the Arrival of White Truffles

It’s white truffle season, and the treasured tubers, which can fetch up to $150 an ounce, are perfuming plates of pasta in many restaurants. Urbani Truffles, a major supplier, has scheduled cooking classes at the Truffle Lab in its headquarters on the Upper West Side. Pasta with white truffles will be featured from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 16 and Dec. 13; pizza with truffles will be taught from noon to 2 p.m. on Nov. 5 and Dec. 3; and a truffle brunch is scheduled from noon to 2 p.m. on Nov. 19.
