Baked Truffle fries with truffle oil and truffle salt
Truffle fries are the best! Especially baked! Very easy and quick to cook, they will become a must to have on your table!
Prep
Begin by preheating the oven to 400°F (do not place the potatoes into the oven until the desired temperature has been reached).
Start preparing the ingredients while waiting for the oven to preheat.
Peel the potatoes and cut them vertically. Thinner pieces are the best for crispy fries! (about a quarter of an inch)
*Suggestion: we recommend to cut them in large pieces if you prefer them crispy on the outside and soft in the inside ( about half an inch or wedges).
Space out the potatoes fries on a baking pan (use a baking sheet or a silicone mat to prevent sticking). Let cook in the oven for about 15 minutes.
When you see a golden brown color and crispy edges, then your fries are ready! If you have a crispier taste, just leave them in the oven for 5 more minutes.
Once they get the crispiness you are looking for, add the final touches. First, pour over the truffle oil and then a sprinkle of truffle salt, that will give an extra kick to your baked truffle fries.
Note: in case of leftovers, do not reheat baked truffle fries in the microwave. Reheat them in a 300°F for a few minutes and they will be as good as just baked.
A perfect side for the Kaiser Roll With Beef Hamburger or the Brioche bread with lentils cream, black truffles puree and foie gras.
