Summer Recipes with a Truffle Twist

When we hear the word “truffle”, the first association for most of us is “something of haute cuisine, difficult to get and cook”. However, what would you say if we insist that it’s not true? If we say that you can enjoy the delicious truffle flavour with no overcomplication, in an easy and affordable way? 

 

Truffle Cream Cheese Omelette with Balsamic Greens

Truffle Cream Cheese is one of the products that can easily add that special taste to your every meal even breakfast!

Toss the greens with olive oil, and vinegar; season with salt and pepper, and toss once more.  Set aside.

Heat an 8 or 10″ skillet over medium heat.  Once the pan is hot add enough olive oil to lightly coat the bottom of the pan. Whisk together and season with salt and pepper.  Add the egg mixture to the pan and turn the heat to medium-low, cook until the top of the eggs is a bit sturdy, about 3-4 minutes.  

Cover the omelettes with 2 tablespoons of Urbani Truffle Cream Cheese, greens and avocado. Enjoy!

 

Truffle French Fries

The easiest way to enjoy truffle taste one can imagine. The trick is to use Urbani Truffle Salt as the finishing touch to your homemade fries!

If you would like to make it healthier, try baking. Arrange potato wedges on a baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil over the wedges and season with Urbani Truffle Salt. Roast potato wedges for 15 minutes, turn, and continue roasting until soft in the center, about 15 minutes more.

 

Roasted Vegetables with Truffle Salt

Well, let’s face the truth anything you add the truffle salt to becomes much more delicious right away. The main trick to remember with the truffle salt is that it is best to be used at finish. Truffles don’t hold their flavor very long at high heat. Here we suggest that you try brussels sprouts, broccoli or corn (or altogether) sprinkled with Urbani White Truffle Salt.

Just chop veggies and lay everything on a sheet pan – add olive oil, truffle salt and roast to perfection.  This is a fragrant and awesome side dish for anything. Pair it with any great meat main dish and you’re set. Easy, yummy, and beautiful.
